They like to make questions stupid easy sometimes. Like, the other day, it went “ Whose last words were, ‘ Is everyone okay?’”
Okay, I think that was RFK.
“... in 1968"
Definitely RFK.
“... when he was assassinated”
Okay, you can stop now.
“... according to the busboy who was shaking his hand.”
Well now everyone knows. Thanks.

Abe Lincoln?
I honestly would not have gotten that right away because I wasn’t aware of the busboy situation.
But the way trivia works, as soon as you hear 1968 and assassination, it’s worthwhile to take a stab at one of the two choices. That’s if they let you answer early; most “bar trivia” gives you plenty of time.

Aside from that, Mrs. Lincoln, did you enjoy the play?

“ Yes, but that’s the last time I’ll ride in a convertible Continental, that’s for sure. Suicide doors, my ass.”

NPR had a really great interview with the busboy 50 years later.

Would you believe I haven’t see that since it was in the theatre? Mel Brooks is just that good.

Heh. I love that movie. I mean, it’s no Spaceballs, but it’s so good. Now if you’ll excuse me while I whip this out...

I would’ve missed that one, because I though RFK was the one who would’ve lived if he drove a beetle .
